Here is our second draft film poster, that we created using ideas from other researched film posters. We would like some feedback so we are able to craete the final draft. We were perhaps looking at trying to create the offender in a hood with a black or white plain background to give the idea of a rape in the film.
I like the sense of mystery that is created by the image (her back is toward us). The black background communicates a sense of loneliness or emptiness. The glow to the title is also effective as are the logos. The tagline, for me, is too hopeless. Don't we need there to be a chance of salvation? Her cries may be heard despite the trials and tribulations she goes through? Maybe I'm seeing it too much from a feature film perspective rather than that of a short film but I think that audiences are rather put off by bleak films. There is also the danger that the genre may be misinterpreted as a horror.
